An announcement you don't want to miss.

First off, I want to thank everyone who has come through my studio the last few years. Starting out in my home and moving to a commercial space. Some of you saw my youngest grow up before your eyes as I loved on your babies. Clients quickly became family. I love your children as my own as I see them grow year after year. I will never forget how you have changed

my and my families life by allowing me to document your babies as they grew. Some when they were tucked away safely in your womb all the way through elementary school. After a lot of thought, prayer and discussion I have decided to close my studio at the end of August. This decision wasn't made lightly and I went back and forth for awhile. I have had an opportunity to take a job that I couldn't say no to. I'll write more about that eventually, but I have had so much fun meeting the team and learning something completely new. So what does that look like for photography? I will still be doing fine art maternity, studio newborn, milestones and lifestyle studio maternity/motherhood sessions until the end of August. After that, I have arranged to rent a studio to fulfill out any sessions that I have booked through out the end of the year. So if you want a fine art maternity or studio newborn session, definitely reach out quickly. My availability will be limited as I learn this new role and make sure to prioritize my family time as well. Will I still be doing photography? Yes, I will still be offering branding, outdoor maternity and family sessions, and lifestyle newborn and maternity sessions. I will also be offering traveling newborn sessions. These are great because you will get the best of both worlds with studio newborns and lifestyle sessions. My availability will be more limited. I will have 1-2 weekends a month for evening sessions. I can imagine they will fill up quickly for those that come every year for family pictures. I will also offer a few weekday evening sessions. I would miss it if I gave it up completely. I will also offer traveling branding sessions where I come to your workplace and set up a studio and you can get your whole team in without having to arrange to come to a studio. I may look into renting a small space to keep doing branding sessions as they have become part of something I am offering quite frequently. All of this is new. I do miss outdoor sessions though, so please reach out and book yours and let's chase the dreamy, golden light together. If a field isn't your thing we can go to the lake, river, play in the sprinkler or do an activity that you enjoy together. Board games anyone? I'm always down for an adventure, it will just be more scheduled than before. I know this is long and I'm so incredibly grateful if you have read this far. When I opened up my commercial studio, I prayed that I would have peace when it was time to slow down and I am there. Thank you again for everyone that has came through my doors, let me snuggle your precious babies and allowed me to be part of your families. While this isn't a completely closed door.
