So what exactly happens during a lifestyle newborn session?

I know, its cliche, however it is absolutely true.
Before our session together, I will send out a prep guide and questionnaire. It helps me plan for our session together. Do you want a lot of play and emotive images? I have you covered. Have a certain room in your home that is your absolute favorite? Let's document it! It also helps you focus on getting only one or two rooms "ready" and I say ready lightly, as I can shift things that I need to when I arrive. Typically we will spend time in the family room/parents room and/or nursery. Needing help with outfit choices? I'm your gal! I can help you find coordinating outfits for each of your family members that will make your images go from pictures, to portraits.
The benefits of a lifestyle newborn session include not having to leave your home. I remember after having babies, I didn't always feel up to getting ready, getting my kiddos ready and getting out the door. This makes it easy. I come to you and bring what I need.
Typically during a lifestyle session, we will document you feeding, getting baby ready for the day, and cuddles. Oh the cuddles. Taking in the sweet baby smell and awestruck feeling of having your baby actually in your arms. This little guy, spent time in the NICU so it was so special to be able to capture when he was home with his family. Did you see big "pup" brother? His expressions said it all.
While, I am located in Marion, Indiana, I travel! So if you have a family member who is not located near by but they loved your session, I would be happy to go visit them too!!! I love it when families tell their friends and family members about me, as it is the biggest compliment I can receive!
